47 Million Funds Released for COMSATS Vehari Campus

VEHARI: PML-N leader and MNA Begam Tehmina Daultana has said that Rs 5 billion worth of development schemes have been launched in Vehari district to offer basic facilities to the people.
While talking to the newsmen here she said that the whole Punjab will give a new developed look in next five years by virtue of the development initiatives undertaken by the Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
Vehari development initiatives included Rs 3 billion worth of Comsats University and Industrial Estate and another Rs 2 billion for new roads, water supply, sewerage, parks, community halls, street lights, and hospitals in areas which had remained neglected in past. These areas included Pir Murad, Bhutta Shadi Khan Chak 9/11 wb, and others in Vehari.
She said that Rs 47 million worth of funds have been released for the Comsats University and classes will begin hopefully from next month. She said that German Technology Park will be built at Small Industrial Estate with the cooperation from Germany to enable youth acquire skills in different disciplines of science and technology to earn honourable livelihood.
PM is powerless, Government failed, says Tehmina Daultana MNA

VEHARI… PMLN MNA Tehmina Daultana has said that federal government has failed miserably to solve masses problems and at present a democratic dictatorial regime is present in the country.
She was addressing a press conference at Muslim League house Vehari. MPAs Naeem Khan Bhabha, Mrs Shamila Aslam, Provincial Vice President PMLN Zahid Anwar Wahla and others.
Tehmina answering a question said present situation does not depict failure of democratic set up in the country instead it is failure of Federal government. She said at Punjab level one can see government functionaries active but this is not the case at federal level. She mentioned the price hike, energy crisis, economic trouble, industrial set backs and cuts in exports as glaring examples of government failure.
MNA said we would strengthen judiciary at all costs and would fight to end presidential system in the country. She said nothing has changed since departure of Musharraf at present President is running the government instead of PM the chief executive. Tehmina said Prime Minister Gillani is an able person but he is not empowered enough to run the country.
Answering a question regarding PML unification, she said this matter is before central working committee of PMLN as many PMLQ MNAs are ready to join us. She said unification decision will be taken in democratic manner.
She rejected the term Friendly Opposition for PMLN and said we are a serious opposition but we are not there to derail the whole system. We would not compromise on issues like independence of judiciary and action against Musharraf and Shokat Aziz, she said.
Tehmina further stated that PPP does not have simple majority at federal level but PMLN enjoyed the support of 22 member forward block of PML in Punjab. She said even if they have to sacrifice the Punjab government on principles, they are ready to do so.
She said we strongly condemned the policies of Bush regime in Pakistan and around Muslim world. She expressed her hope that new American government would come with new vision of peace.
Zahid Wahla Announced his Support
VEHARI… PMLN Provicial Vice President Zahid Anwar Wahla Advocate has announced to support presidential candidate Syed Naeem ul Hassan Bukhari and general secretary candidate Rana Shoaib Asghar in DBA polls. While addressing a press conference, Wahla said PMLN Lawyers Wing and their friends would support and campaign for this panel. He said we would never support non professional candidates. He also revealed that he becomes fifth Pakistan to get doctorate degree in the subject of law.

VEHARI… PMLN MNA Tehmina Daultana has said that Chief Minister Punjab has a vision to make Pakistan educationally and economically strong nation and in this regard many drastic steps are being taken.
He was addressing a function arranged in connection with prize distribution ceremony of position holders of district level essay writing, debate and speech competitions. The function held at Government Girls College. It was attended by Chairman BISE Multan Muhammad Nawaz Javed, MPAs Shamila Aslam Naeem Khan Bhabha, EDO Education Naseer Ahmad, EDO R Nasar Ullah Laghari, DEO Colleges Rana Muhammad Safdar, Col Retd Rafqat Ali Rana, Principal Governement Boys College Muhammad Aslam Alvi, Principal Girls College Mrs Nasim Sikandar,Principal Mrs Zubaida Ch, Secretary BISE Multan Muhammad Hussain Azad, Educationists Professor Rashid Sidhu, Mian Jehanzaib Yousaf, Rana Muhammad Yaqoub, Zafar Jameel, Ch Sardar and others.
Tehmina Daultana said such programs enhance the confidence of students that would provide them with chances to excel in coming life. She lauded the quality of speeches and debates presented in the function. She said she has brought the COMSATS campus in Vehari that would change the lives of this area and provide new opportunities to students.
MPA Shamila Aslam, Chairman BISE Muhammad Nawaz Javed, Secretary Muhammad Hussain Azad, Dr Rana Safdar, Rashid Sidhu, Muhammad Ali Zaidi, Haleema Sadia, Beenish Iqbal and others also addressed on the occasion.
Lawyers Protested Murder of Nadeem Dogar
VEHARI… Lawyers of District Bar Association Vehari have observed complete strike against the murder of Nadeem Dogar Secretary Burewala Bar Association.
DBA lawyers strongly condemned the incident and demanded action against culprits.

VEHARI.....PMLN Vice President Tehmina Daultana MNA has said that government is emphasiing upon health and education sectors and in this regard facilities of Lahore and Islamabad would be provided here.
She was addressing the launch ceremony of Pakistan Intiative for Mother and Newborns PAIMAN jointly introduced by US Aid and Provincial Health department. The ceremony was attended by PAIMAN Cheif Dr Nabila Ali, DCO Muhammad Khurram Agha, MPAs Shamila Aslam, Naeem Bhabha, District Police Officer Asher Hameed ch, EDOR Nasar Ullah Laghari, EDO Health Dr Muhammad Jameel, EDO IT Farah Javed, DOC Sarfraz magsi, Dr Khalid Mehmood, Dr Ghylam Hussain Asif, MS DHQ Hospital Dr Shahid Saleem, Dr Naseem Khichi and others.
Tehmina said the society having more healthy people has more chances to progress and a healthy educated mother can make a nation progressive and vibrant. She said it is unfortunate that in our society, ladies health and care usually ignored. Tehmina said Paiman has launched a good project regarding mother child health which would improve living conditions of them.
She said Vehari people would strongly support Paiman project and that will would be a step towards progress of area.
Tehmina said a small industrial estate would be established in Vehari that will provide jobs in district and new arenas of oppurtunity will be opened for masses. Dr Nabeela Ali said this project is being launched in 13 districts inluding Vehari and during this project message of mothers health would be send in every house. She said in Pakistan a womwn died in every 20 minutes during delivery. Lack of transport, poor living conditions, lack of gynacologist doctors and closure of public hospitals early in the day resulting in that situations, she said.
Tehmina Belieives Government Is In Trouble

VEHARI...Central Vice President PMLN and ARD Tehmina Daultana MNA has said that government is in deep trouble at present due to present national scenario. We condemn the arrests of PML N workers who showed solidarity with CJP.
She was addressing a press conference in PML house Vehari. She government herself brought a resolution against opposition for politicizing judicial crisis but now trying not to discuss it in NA. She said eight PML workers were arrested from Vehari including Malik Sarwar, Murtaza Dogar, Rafiq Pasha, Rana Afzal, Rao Shoaib, Rana Ramzan and Shabbir Sayyal and sent them to far off Dera Ghazi Khan jail which was unreasonable and illegal. She said a few Generals have made whole country hostage for their interests. Tehimina replying to a question said ARD is intact and Charter of Democracy still exists as she is hopeful that there would be no gulf between signing parties in near future. She said PMLN has no contacts with rulers.
